Images of Brazil is a concert program exploring the breadth and variety of Brazilian music—original arrangements of samba, choro, frevo, bossa nova, and beyond—alongside classical works by Villa-Lobos, Camargo Guarnieri, and others. Francesca Anderegg and Erika Ribeiro have performed and recorded this repertoire together for a decade, releasing two albums: Images of Brazil (2018), called “the most delightful disc of Brazilian chamber music to come along in years” by Fanfare Magazine, and Navigator of Silences (2024), called “an intoxicating collection…filled with a deep sense of yearning” by CBC Music.
